Do you have any idea what you’ll be writing or directing next?
LaGravenese: No. I have a little indie film that I’m trying to put together, which is a musical. It’s all sung, so it’s already written. It’s called The Last Five Years, which was an off-Broadway musical a few years ago, and it’s actually going to be off-Broadway again in April. It’s just with two characters and it’s all sung, about a young man and young woman in their 20′s who meet, fall in love, get married and break up, all in the span of five years. All of her songs start at the end of their relationship and go to the beginning, and all of his songs start at the beginning and go to the end. So, in the end when she’s saying goodbye to their first date, he’s saying goodbye to their marriage. And in the beginning, she’s getting the letter saying they’ve broken up, and then the next song is five years earlier and he’s just made love to her and he’s never loved anybody more. It goes back and forth like that. It’s not sung dialogue. They’re songs, and each one has a monologue that tells the story. It’s a great little piece . I don’t know if it’s going to work, but it’s something I want to try. Anna Kendrick is attached to play the girl, and I’m looking for the guy now. It’s like a $2 million budget. It’s really tiny and small. It will be shot on digital with a 22-day schedule. It’s a really small thing. So, we’ll see.

In The Company You Keep, Jim Grant (Robert Redford) is a public interest lawyer and single father raising his daughter in the tranquil suburbs of Albany, New York. Grant’s world is turned upside down, when a brash young reporter named Ben Shepard (Shia LaBeouf) exposes his true identity as a former 1970s antiwar radical fugitive wanted for murder. After living for more than 30 years underground, Grant must now go on the run. With the FBI in hot pursuit, he sets off on a cross-country journey to track down the one person that can clear his name.
Shepard knows the significance of the national news story he has exposed and, for a journalist, this is an opportunity of a lifetime. Hell-bent on making a name for himself, he is willing to stop at nothing to capitalize on it. He digs deep into Grant’s past. Despite warnings from his editor and threats from the FBI, Shepard relentlessly tracks Grant across the country.
As Grant reopens old wounds and reconnects with former members of his antiwar group, the Weather Underground, Shepard realizes something about this man is just not adding up. With the FBI closing in, Shepard uncovers the shocking secrets Grant has been keeping for the past three decades. As Grant and Shepard come face to face in the wilderness of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, they each must come to terms with who they really are.

The E! Online readers have spoken. In a recent poll asking you who should play Princess Leia in the upcoming Star Wars 7, Anna Kendrick and Jennifer Lawrence nearly tied as the top pick.
While Kendrick gave us a big smile when we told her the news, she chose response very carefully. "This is going to be one of those things that gets me into trouble," she said with a laugh at the Trevor Project's Trevor Live benefit. "So I am just going to say that it's really sweet. That's all I'm going to say because no matter what I say I'll get into trouble."
Smart move, Anna. No one wants to piss off the Star Wars fans.
